Crowds gather to Speed Date event

Danny and Donna of Energy Aspect Living
share their knowledge of energy efficient building
Crowds gathered at the Marion Cultural Centre last weekend, with the Speed Date a Sustainable Designer event held in Adelaide for the very first time.

An introductory seminar shared information on design, energy and permaculture whilst later in the day, those who preregistered for a date had the opportunity to meet with industry experts in building, architecture, design, energy, permaculture and the like.

The event was a great success, the room buzzing from the 20 or more simultaneous discussions in process, which didn't halt even if for a brief moment the lights went out to create a truly blind date experience.

If you missed out on a speed date, Donna and Danny from Energy Aspect Living welcome the opportunity to meet with you at your home or land to discuss building design and construction, we are just a phone call away.

The Speed Date a Sustainable Designer event is an initiative of the Alternative Technology Association, who has held similar events in the eastern states, also with great success.  A big thankyou to the ATA volunteers who did a great job in ensuring the event ran smoothly, and also to the City of Marion for hosting the event.
