Danny Pauley explains hidden aspects of the new living room

Crowds enjoy tours and gain insigts on sustainable building
As visitors on Sustainable House Day moved from the 1875 cottage in Beulah Park through to the new living room extension, the difference in temperature was felt thanks to the beatuiful sunny day which warmed the new living room, naturally.

Builder, Danny Pauley together with home owners Luke and Georgy gave guided tours of their home, which has been renovated to create modern open living and to make the most of the northern aspect that their land offers.

Danny explained design features as well as construction techniques used in the extension, and the importance of considering solar passive design, microclimates, thermal mass, and glazing selections.
